The rising prices of edible oils in the country have raised the government's concern. The Central Government is going to have an important meeting on Friday to chalk out a strategy to control the prices of edible oils. On Friday, there will be a meeting of the Price Monitoring Committee of the Central Government to review the prices of edible oils. edible oil prices have been steadily increasing since the Corona crisis began. It is believed that this committee can recommend keeping the prices of edible oil under control. India meets almost two-thirds of its edible oil needs through imports, and prices of edible oil are constantly rising due to imports being expensive. Due to the rise in global market, edible oil prices are seen increasing in India, due to the not favourable weather, this time the production of all the oilseeds worldwide has decreased due to which the supply is less than the demand. So edible oil prices are at record levels.
देश में खाद्य तेलों की बढ़ रही कीमतों ने सरकार की चिंता बढ़ा दी है। खाद्य तेलों के दामों को कंट्रोल करने की रणनीति बनाने के लिए केंद्र सरकार शुक्रवार को अहम बैठक करने जा रही है। शुक्रवार को खाद्य तेलों की कीमतों की समीक्षा करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार की प्राइस मॉनिटरिंग कमेटी की बैठक होगी। कोरोना संकट शुरू होने के बाद खाद्य तेल की कीमतों लगातार बढ़ातार बढ़ती जा रही हैं। ऐसे में माना जा रहा है यह कमेटी खाद्य तेल की कीमतें काबू में रखने की सिफारिश कर सकती है। भारत खाद्य तेल की अपनी जरूरतों का तकरीबन दो तिहाई हिस्सा आयात से पूरा करता है और आयात महंगा होने से खाद्य तेल के दाम लगातार बढ़ते जा रहे हैं। ग्लोबल मार्केट में तेजी की वजह से भारत में खाद्य तेल के दामों में तेजी देखी जा रही है, बताया गया कि मौसम अनुकूल नहीं होने की वजह से दुनियाभर में इस बार तमाम तिलहनों के उत्पादन में कमी आई है जिससे मांग के मुकाबले आपूर्ति कम है। लिहाजा खाद्य तेल के दाम रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर हैं।
