Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden in the US presidential election and Kamala Harris, who accompanied him to the polls, congratulated Hindu Americans on the occasion of the nine-day Navratri festival that began on Saturday. A survey has revealed that 72 percent of the Indian-American voters who have registered so far in the presidential elections have decided to vote for Democratic candidate Joe Biden, while only 22 percent plan to vote for the current president Trump.
