"At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom." आप में से कई लोगों ने यह पंक्ति सुनी होगी और जानते भी होंगे की यह किसने बोली थी। For those who don't know, this powerful line is a part of a famous midnight Independence speech 'Tryst With Destiny' आज से ठीक 70 वर्ष पहले, 14 अगस्त की मध्यरात्रि को, स्वतंत्र भारत के प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री श्री जवाहरलाल नेहरु की इस speech के द्वारा भारत को स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त होने का एलान किया गया था। क्योंकि यह स्पीच उस समय अंग्रेजी में दी गयी थी, आज हम “TRYST WITH DESTINY” में प्रयोग किए गए कुछ महत्वपुर्ण शब्दों का अर्थ समझने का प्रयास करेंगे। Let's journey back and try to relive this momentous speech.
